Yoga & Restore for a Healthy Back

It's estimated that 75% of all adults complain of back pain at some point in their life. This workshop will give you some tools to prevent future injury. You will learn a series of preventative stretches and exercises designed to strengthen your core, realign your spine and keep your back limber.

Workshop: Piriformis and IT Band

The piriformis is notorious for causing buttock pain. It addition, when it gets tight is can irritate the sciatic nerve and cause pain all the way down the leg to the foot. Another troublemaker is the IT Band,. If you feel discomfort on the outside of the thigh between the knee and hip, the iliotibial band is involved. These two areas are often aggravated at the same time either because of over or under use. Learn some stretches during the workshop to help relieve discomfort and also find out how to strengthen these areas.
