I continue to love yoga more and more every day. I enjoy helping people take the mystery out of their bodies and recognize how much they can help themselves. I constantly strive for quality movements in myself and others in hopes to move pain free.
yoga works from the inside out and has helped me heal emotionally, spiritually, and physically and I want to share these gifts with my students. I continue to grow in my yoga therapy work, and in the areas of meditation and the 8 limb path of yoga as well.
I have been instructing since 1999 and teach a Hatha/vinyassa-flow style of yoga with a gentle emphasis. I have broad experience teaching regular classes at the YMCA and other public venues but am currently focusing on providing services for smaller groups that will allow me to give more individual attention to students, such as workplace yoga, personal one-on-one sessions, and chair yoga for those with reduced mobility. I can also organize customized yoga events for special occasions such as fundraisers or retreats.
I have always worked to improve my practice and am currently continuing my yoga therapy training with Susi Hately of Functional Synergy.

This Open Level class is for everyone who wants to hit 2 birds with one stone! Here’s a practice that helps you feel centered and balanced and at the same time, build physical strength and flexibility. Yoga poses use deep, slow breathing to harness relaxation, while strengthening core, upper body, and leg muscles. A relaxing savasana (rest pose) in the end allows you to land your practice!
