TRX Basics & Beyond

Chris Brush

Opening a studio that blends fitness, dance and overall conditioning has been a long term goal for Chris.  Her fitness resume begins with the aerobic explosion and has continued to expand. Early certification in Rep Reebok, Reebok Step, and Stability Ball gave her a solid group X foundation.  For the past 12 years Chris has trained and been educated in the Stott Pilates Methods and is a seasoned Mat and Reformer instructor.  TRX group training, PiYo, and barre classes are favored classes. She is certified in Barre Above and TRX and has many years of experience with dance based classes.  Her attention to proper form and breaking down movement patterns is a foundation of her classes.

Monique Bellinger

Monique Bellinger is a young mother of three and a health and fitness enthusiast! With 10+ years in the health and wellness industry she loves educating, motivating and supporting others while they reach their personal goals. As a former all-star cheerleader, coach, personal trainer she also holds multiple group fitness certifications and is prepared to work with multiple age/ fitness levels. She will have you sweating and smiling all at the same time.

Become familiar with the suspension training system known as TRX (total resistance exercise). You will be shown how to adjust the "straps" for various exercises, how to increase or decrease the intensity of your workout on TRX, became acquainted with the added challenge of instability and more. A series of exercises will be introduced at a slower pace than is available in classes with experienced TRX users. This workout is a great compliment to pilates, yoga, running, cross-fit, and almost any other exercising you do. Good for all levels of fitness.
